What should I expect from this treatment?
By using Botulinum Toxin Type A small injections are used to temporarily relax the muscles, giving you time to break the habit of using them repeatedly and giving your skin time to recover. The results become apparent within 5 to 10 days. Wrinkles soften and in time lift out. The effects last around 3 to 4 months but improve with repeated treatments. A consultation with a full explanation and assessment is made prior to prescribing and consenting to any treatment. Aftercare and advice along with information leaflets are provided.
what is botulinum toxin?
It is a natural, purified protein that has been used for therapeutic purposes for decades. It is proven to be safe, reliable and effective, hence it’s popularity. Botulinum Toxin can only be prescribed by a doctor or qualified prescribing practitioner e.g. nurse prescriber, and has several other medical uses. The clinic prescribes the range of Botulinum Toxin including Botox, Azzalure & Bocouture and this will be discussed at consultation.
